Ingredients
- 1 cup Barnyard Millet (Sanwa)
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- ½ cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrot, beans)
- 2 tbsp oil
- Whole spices: 1 bay leaf, 2 cloves, 1 cardamom, 1 inch cinnamon
- Salt to taste
- 2 cups water

Wash and soak the barnyard millet for 20 minutes. Drain.

Heat oil in a pan. Add whole spices and fry for 30 seconds.

Add sliced onion and cook until golden.

Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.

Add tomato and cook until mushy.

Add vegetables and stir for 2 minutes.

Add the drained millet, 2 cups of water, and salt.
