- 1 cup Kodo Millet (Varagu)
- ½ cup moong dal (split yellow lentils)
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2.5 cups water

Wash the kodo millet and moong dal separately and soak for 30 minutes.

Heat ghee in a pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds.

Add the drained millet and moong dal, sauté for 2 minutes.

Add turmeric, salt, and water.

Pressure cook for 2-3 whistles on medium heat.

Once pressure releases, open and gently mash if desired.
